He had been waiting well over an hour now for everyone to arrive; lucky for them, he was a patient man. Green paced around the room with hands in his pockets and eyes closed… he was a bit restless though.
The boy smoothed back a tuft of silky brown hair. Maybe they had allmisunderstood the meaning of “urgent”. He was just about to head towards the door when a familiar figure made her way through. A smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth as he approached her.
“Late as always, Blue,” he leaned forward, his nose about an inch from hers and opened his evergreen eyes.
This was a rather close greeting, wasn`t it? Of course, the girl didn`t mind at all. In fact, she took it as a challenge to see just how much she could push him until he got annoyed.
“Oh, did I take too long? I`m sorry to keep you waiting, cutie,“ Blue responded with a giggle.
There didn`t seem to be anyone around yet, which she found odd—Professor Oak was usually punctual himself, wasn`t he? Blue shrugged off the thought, causing a cascade of brown strands to fall over her shoulder. Pressing her lips together to form a mischievous smile, she figured she could at least cause a little mischief in this boring town.
Cutie? He leaned back away from her, tipping his head back just a bit so it appeared he was glancing just above the round of her head. He was well aware of the game she enjoyed playing and he was very quick to end them.
“Hm? So, where’s Grandpa and Red? I kind of find it hard to believe you beat them here,” Smoothly, he slipped his hands back in to his pockets, cocking his head at the smaller girl. ”I guess we all have to grow up some time, huh?” His eyes narrowed and a coy smile was drawn on his lips. The boy walked around her, with slow deliberate steps.
It was starting to concern him now. Sure, Red was an idiot, but to be this late? Grandpa was eccentric, so there really was no telling where he was. Now behind Blue, Green pulled a hand from his pocket and reached to touch the girl gently on the shoulder, curving his shape around hers to where his lips where at her ear.
“Hey, let’s go and look for them. I’m getting tired of standing around.”
With that, he moved away once more and made his way out the door, the hand that had once been on her shoulder now combing thoughtfully through his hair.
